Last week we had our annual Team Spirit Week and In It to Win It competition. The kids had so much fun competing with their teams and alongside their teachers. We also had a great turnout for our Pink Out Tailgate. The Cavalier football team brought home a big win, 36-0 over the Quail Hollow Falcons!! As soon as we have a final count on funds raised for breast cancer research we will let you know. The only thing I would like to mention about the game is that, as spectators, we need to mindful of one another. Whether this is our bleacher behavior or the way we speak to one another (adults and children), please remember good sportsmanship when at all CHMS athletic events. Thank you so much!
Parents, please mark your calendars for our Teens and Technology session that will be held on October 20 at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. This event is for adults only. This year we have added a small component to our presentation. Not only will we talk about the social media behavior of our kids, we will also teach parents about the many technology platforms being used at CHMS. Ever wonder how to work Google Classroom? Plan to attend this event!!
Have a great week!Jamie W. Brooks
