I hope everyone had a restful break and enjoyed time with friends and family. As many of you have probably heard, we lost a member of our CHMS family over the weekend. 8th grader Josh Pang died in a car accident early Saturday. Our entire community is devastated by the loss of this special kid. Josh was loved by all and will be deeply missed. I want you to know that we will have extra counselors on hand Monday and as long as we need them. We will do our best to come together as a school family to support one another. Please do not hesitate to contact me or your grade level counselor with any concerns you have for your child as we all deal with this tragedy.

Art by Me
Students enrolled in 2nd semester art classes will be participating in the Art By Me fundraising program. You will have an opportunity to purchase professionally-made products from your student's original artwork, and at the same time help our school earn extra money. After Spring Break, art students will receive a special "Tear and Share" preview postcard featuring artwork they have been working on in class. These postcards will provide ordering information. All orders will be due back to CHMS by Wednesday, April 13, with checks made payable to "CHMS FAB." Orders will return to the school in early May -- just in time to make a great gift for Mother's Day. Thank you for your support.
