We are down to the last two weeks of school for the 2015-2016 year! EOGs begin on Tuesday and run through the entire week. Please make sure that your child gets plenty of sleep each night and eats a nutritious breakfast each morning. Also, if you signed up to proctor, please make sure you get here early so you can get the required, brief training. Thank you to those who have volunteered to help. We honestly could not do this without you!!
8th grade students will take the SS Exam tomorrow as it is the shortest one and permits us time for the Powder Puff festivities In the afternoon:) 6th and 7th grade students will start Tuesday with Math. All students will take Reading on Wednesday. 8th grade will take Math on Thursday while 6th and 7th take SS. Finally, all students will end the week with Science. If your child is enrolled in a HS credit course, those EOCs will be next week. Please try to avoid absences as there are not many days available for make-up testing. 8th grade students that are taking EOCs and miss s day due to illness, may not be able to participate in Promotion Ceremonies due to make-up testing.
If you have any questions about EOGs or EOCs, please do not hesitate to contact me or the grade level administrator. I wish everyone the best of luck with state testing!!
